I do hope they clear the backlogs and everyone gets a positive decision. I received a letter on the 7th January 2019 (dated 2nd January 2019)from Home Office apologising about the delay and a refund of £610 (I have not received the refund yet though). I did not request for a refund yet but it appears they are going through cases and issuing refunds where there has been a delay caused by themselves.
Below is my timeline:
Type of Application: Tier 2 Dependant Set O to ILR (5 years)
Service: Super Priority Service
Online Application: 27th November 2018
Sopra Steria Appointment: 6th December 2018 (I uploaded all my documents at home)
Calls made to both Sopra Steria and UKVI: 7th, 8th, 9th, etc. They kept saying 5 working days although Sopra Steria confirmed they had indeed submitted to HO. Finally on the 13th UKVI took my details for escalation. I also emailed all public emails I could find.
Email Decision Approval: 14th Decemeber 2018
Approval Letter received: 18th December 2018 (dated 14th December 2018)
BRP received: 20th December 2018 (was meant to be 19th December but rescheduled; had to call DX to check if I had a parcel as I was not even notified)
Refund Letter received: 7th January 2019 (dated 2nd January 2019). Still awaiting refund.

Where do I find the case id in the new digital application? I can only see the payment reference number in the submitted application. Please advice.

Hi All,
I have a strange problem. I can not manage to locate the consent form that has to be signed and uploaded as part of the application. Is there a way this can be requested during biometrics and verification process?

Regards,
Alok
Hi there.

Is this consent form needed for Set M application as well?

I did not receive any such email. Only email I received after submission is for the biometrics appointment.

Dear all,

It is with extreme happiness, excitement and shaky hands I would like to announce that I have received an email from the HO stating my ILR has been granted and the BRP and decision letter will be sent in due course.

Here is my story:-

Date of Online Application - 24th November 2018 - 20:29PM
Automatic 6 months email - 26th November 2018 - 13:06 PM
Biometric Appointment booking at Sopra Steira done on - 27th November 2018
Biometric Appointment at Sopra Steira Croydon office - 1st December 2018 at 10am. (done in 25 mins fastest in and out time I reckon as I had uploaded everything except passport and they did that at the centre).

1st Escalation - 9th December 2018
2nd Escalation - 13th December 2018
3rd Escalation - 17th December 2018
Wrote to complaints HO email - 17th December 2018 - wait 20 working days
Wrote to MP - 19th December 2018
Called UKVI for 4th escalation on 19th - told to call on 18th Jan 2019
Called UKVCAS for the application being sent succesfully on the 1st december - 19th December 2018.
Called MP - 7th Jan, 8th Jan and 9th JAn - told on 9th Jan that they have written to HO and to wait 20 working days.

10th Jan 2019 - 12:03 - Email form HO grating ILR and to expect BRP and decision letter shortly.
Wrote back to the email asking for refund.

Barely able to contain my excitement and happiness. It literally feels like a big weight is lifted off the shoulder. Waited 8 years (1st 3 years didnt count as on Tier 4 and PSW visas) for this day!!!!

Beyond happy!!
Good luck to everyone who is waiting! I am confident they will process everything this week or the next for those having long waits.

I will be posting my story about refund as and when I get anywhere with it.

People who had used croydon centre, could you please let me know if the ukvcas centre is on bedford palace road (brown building). I am a little confused as on google it says 35 Dingwall Rd which is the main road but postcode takes to bedford palace one way road

You don't need to get worried just follow 35 Dingwall Rd and you will see a building, it is in main road.

When you escalate next time you can ask them the Case ID.
When did you submit your biometrics?

Congratulations @badhodor !! Thanks for sharing your story! Very encouraging though my Biometric is 3 days earlier than you and still waiting at the moment. Looks like they are not clearing the jam in an order again? Could you also share your complaint letter sent to HO?

Looks like the written letter from your MP on the 9th Jan worked the best?

I think we should not only just ask for a refund but keep complaining about these long delays to other higher government department. The unfair long delays caused all of us huge stress and anxiety here.

Did you download "Checklist" once you submitted and paid for your application?

If yes then you can find your "Unique Application Number" there.

hi all,
I will be glad if any of you guys @groot5 @frmglasgow @kiwijane123 @ dilse4srk @Vpruk and other moderators help me with the below please. Im getting worried i may have submitted our application wrongly

I have a question about the Sopra Steria website. I have submitted ILR (LR) application for myself and my family. When i go to the Documents submission page, it only gives me optional documents catergory ONLY and No Mandatory documents. The same shows on my wifes application.

Does that seem normal? Did anyone of you get the Mandatory documents section to upload your files?

Hello Friends,

Its now turn to share good news :D :D I have received from HO that my ILR has been granted. I did at least 5 escalations and sent emails to every possible address of HO. Below is the email i received.

"I’m pleased to confirm that your application for indefinite leave to remain under Tier 2 of the immigration arrangements has now been granted. You will receive your decision letter and biometric residence permit (BRP) in due course and these will confirm your immigration status. Thank you for using our super priority service."

My timeline as below:
Submission Date 19 Dec-18
Biometrcis 23rd Dec-18
Approval email 10th Jan-19

First escalation 29th Dec
Second 2nd Jan
Third 3rd Jan
Fourth 7th Jan
5th 9th Jan.

I wish all the luck to all who are still bearing the pain from HO due to their inefficiency

I have only escalated once and got a reply next day where they said my application is under processing and if its not my fault fee will be refunded blah. Did you get similar emails ? Also I see you didn’t wait 5 days before escalating. Don’t they go mad if you escalate everyday ?

Congratulations Manish!

Can you tell me please how did you escalate on 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 9th Jan as UKVI call center doesn't allow escalation before 5 days? Did my submission biometric on 13th Dec and been waiting since then. Complaints email, UKVI call escalation etc. going on. Thanks.

Update from us: we have had to repeat visits to the Sopra Steria centre. Applied on 27th December 2018, notified on Tuesday that biometrics were missing. Returned ad-hoc on Wednesday to repeat biometrics.

Notified today that passport scans now missing, so once again will need to return to scan. I suppose any progress is good progress here...

However, has anyone had an experience like this?! Reading the thread I've not seen anything but incase someone is lurking then I'd very like to hear about your experience and how we can possibility minimise the number of trips made and get the visa processed ASAP! All advice welcome.
