hi dalmust, whilst we too received the update on the TLS website, we didn't get a correlating email. recently after getting an update from UKVi directly (via paid service on phone/email), we were told on 12th Dec our case had been assigned to an ECO and is awaiting a decision.

all the best

Nsxx,

Thanks for your response. We also used the paid service for emails (and calls which were not helpful) however all they could tell us was that it was being considered and awaiting decision as well as a reminder that it could take up-to 60 working days and we shouldn't book flights which we took to be a generic response. Atleast you were given a date Re:assignment and I hope you hear back soon.

All the best as well. Cheers.

Hi everyone. So I contacted mp about my husband's application and he this email from them.

" our records show that we recieved the above application on 25th January 2018.
I can confirm that the decision was made on 27th November 2018, and all supporting documents were sent to the visa application centre (VAC). Where Mr **** submitted his application, and he will be contacted when the documents are ready for collection. We apologise for the delay in concluding the application."

So if the decision was made on 27th of November then why have we not heard anything should it take this long for them to send us passport back ???
I'm confused they also refunded me my ihs in December. Doesn't look like a good outcome to me. Please pray for me everyone we will try finding out tomorrow see what happens.
Any news?

No nothing. Solicitor called and they said decision hasn't been made. And they told mp the decision has been made. My solicitor is writing a complaint now. I'm not sure anymore. I've given up. There isn't any hope anymore. They sent us an email on August saying they made a decision and then there was nothing. Then they told mp decision was made in November still nothing. Then my solicitor calls and they tell him they haven't made a decision. And they also refunded back ihs. So I don't think it will happen anymore. I've chased then again and again and I don't think I want to anymore. Its a waste of money and time.

It's so cool that people get their visa within 2 to 3 months and here's us waiting for a year and nothing. It's frustrating. It's like they have just forgotten about my case all together. Why does this have to have to happen to me I just can't believe it I have kids without a father. And one os disabled aswell if anything they should have done mine quick but no they give people visas within 2 to 3 month just not mine. Even my 2 cousins applied after me and they got there's nothing 2 months how sad is this home office.

That's the thing there is no other option for us. All we can do it wait and just keep escalating. I'm still waiting since January 2018. I've been back and forth with mp. And they tell mp decision have been made and they tell my solicitor it hasn't been made they have spun us around so much and I just don't know wat to do anymore. Just hope we get some sort of good answer.

020 3481 1736 This is the number if you wanna ring and asking for an update but there is a charge of £1.37 per minute basically they rip you off and just give you the same answer or you can email them it would cost you around £5.70 around that figure I’m not sure But it’s a one off payment is cheaper you can just email me every time asked for an update It won’t charge you

All this talk about decision time on visa applications taking 60 business days etc is nonsense unless there are issues within the paperwork itself, employment etc.

I know some people who had a response after approximately 4 weeks (including weekend) without even paying for priority service and yes it was a positive outcome
