Sending off US passport after appeal won

Hello! Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I'm desperate to get help and I tried searching for a similar question..
Which courier service did anyone from America use when sending off your passport for a UK visa (i'm getting the UK spousal visa) after getting denied and winning the appeal. Per the email, it says I need to send it to Sheffield and FedEx is not an accepted courier.. so i went to UPS...

I spent a good half an hour today at UPS trying to send off my US passport. They(UPS & DHL) cannot send a package to the UK and offer a prepaid return postage to me in the US. I am not completely sure why, but the poor kid working even called customer service and got his manager to help.. The USPS won't do it as it uses FedEx. I have no idea what other courier service to use and I need to send it out before this week is over. someone please help.
