I am really praying for all those who are waiting still,I can understand how frustrating and nerve wracking it could be. Good luck and thanks for all those who helped me in the forum!

Congrats R-Graphite,and it will also be useful if you tell how did you upload the bank statements? Did you just upload them individually or combined the all together?

My case is also very strange

Set(o) Tier 2 ILR Online submission: 10th of Dec

Biometrics appointment: 14th of Dec at Glasgow centre

Still waiting for results. I have been calling them for third times. The first email I received was a bit strange. It said that my application has not been completed and I shall keep waiting.

Several days later when I made my second escalation, the email was: We are aiming to make decision within 24hrs however if the case is delayed due to not customer fault, then I am eligible for refund blablabla (generic again).

Then something strange happened today. I did my 3rd escalation yesterday and today I got a phone call from them and they said they were unable to track my application online. Then they gave me an email address and asked me to email them my application form!

After I did that, I receive a further phone call from them and said my application has been found and there is a delay in process blablabla and I am eligible for refund (generic reply again). Then 2 hours later, my solicitor received a very strange email! It was sent by UK Sopra Streia and said: Thanks for uploading your supporting documents. We have now completed the following checks of the files that were available as of 15/1/19.

Did anyone got this email before? The strange thing is I never paid for this documents checking service and it did send to me after a month waiting.... That is very strange...

When I went to sopra steria, they just scanned my passport and said my application is submitted. But they didn't ask for any documents hard copies even though I told I had them with me. However, I had uploaded them already in my UKVCAS account beforehand.

Now it's been almost 3 weeks since 18th December. When I called home office regarding the progress, they said the record shows, my application has not yet been completed!

What does it mean? What should I do not?
Should I call sopra steria about it? I haven't contacted them until now and I haven't gotten any email from them saying my documents have been sent to home office.

Please, anyone, help me! Suggest me ...I am really very stressed. I am concerned if my visa gets rejected for incomplete application.
Hello,
That is very odd. Can you access your online Sopra account? You should have uploaded all documents there and during your appointment at Sopra they should have checked your papers (especially if you paid £35 for the checking service). Give Sopra a call and try to resolve the problem there then call the HO again and ask them to confirm that the application is now complete.

Just one question please, on what number did you reach the HO? may you share it here please?

Thanks and good luck

Hi

Thanks for your suggestions. I did upload all the documents before I attended my appointment. But I didn't pay extra fee for document check service.

But that shouldn't restraint them from submitting my documents to the HO I believe!

I called HO in this number 0300 123 2241

Do you think it's okay to call HO again to check if my application is yet incomplete?

Sorry i did submit my wife’s passport.

No they didn’t ask for marriage certificate but I sent it anyway.

All files were under 6 mb, I had to adjust the scanner quality between 180 to 200 dpi. I made sure quality is good and opted for quality check.

For the SET(M) application you only need to scan declaration form and at the end there is a declaration for you as an applicant which is part of the application. I did not print any other type of consent ad they haven’t asked for it.

Hi All:

This is my final update as thankfully everything has been processed and resolved for my ILR application.
To sum up:

- Biometrics appointment on 26th November 2018

- Escalated 5 times and received multiple generic e-mails (It will take 6 months, application within service standards etc)

- On 20th December I submitted an official complaint with a full breakdown ( dates, names emails) etc also demanding a refund.

- ILR confirmation e-mail received on 9th January. 6 1/2 weeks late !

- BRP card arrived on 16th January, delivered by DX.

- An hour after my BRP was delivered, I received an automatic refund for £610 directly into my credit card.

THE HO just hit a massive backlog during the transition process onto the new system. The worst delays are for those who applied on November which is my case. They do not seem to be processing the application in order as they are divided into teams within the HO. They HO had no other resource but to issue full refunds. Ironically , the refund took way faster to process than anything else. I believe they just want to to get delayed applications fully processed and refunded on a priority basis to avoid further communications/escalations/complaints. Sadly ,those who applied in November happened to do so at the worst possible time going by the updates on this thread. Best of luck to those who are still waiting since November.
How long did it take them to reply to the complaint?
Hi Luni. It took them 12 working days to reply to my complaint e-mail

i am about to submit SET LR online application. however i only get standard service option at the final payment page. but i see some of you guys had super priority service. may i know how did you apply for SET lR using super priority service?
really appreciate your help
HI

Once you are on the final check checklist, you will get two services

Standard
and new super priority service
once you select that, you will be asked to pay 3018 and once the payment is completed then you will be redirected to sopra site to book appointment. It will be helpful if you could share a screenshot of your current application screen

How many from Nov and Dec are still awaiting decision?

The rate at which UK V&I is clearing the backlog is not encouraging at all.

Hi R-graphite,

Did you get an email or a message notification when your BRP is being delivered as I've had my decision/approval email on 7th January along with Arrpoval letter same day but not received BRP yet and it is of no help when contacting Home Office or DX they are just making me go round and round in circles

How many from Nov and Dec are still awaiting decision?

The rate at which UK V&I is clearing the backlog is not encouraging at all.
Hi Praveenv

I don't think they are clearing any backlog this week. I haven't heard any progress since last 3 days.

I am waiting since 8th December, did 3 escalations, sent complaint email on 21st december, but no response yet, wrote to MP this week, he said he will contact Home Office within 10 working days. This wait is getting more difficult now.

My FOI request for the number of cases that failed to meet the 24 hours service standard in the first 4 weeks of UKVCAS system has just been refused by the UKVI! They confirmed that they hold this information but won't release it until later this year. I will submit the request again in a couple of months.

They are not even taking any escalations after 3 i guess?
At least for me they are not - last time I was told to wait for a month.

Hi, I didn’t receive any email of when the DX will deliver. I only received a generic mail from HO saying that It will arrive within 7 days.
But I made sure to contact DX online using their chatting system and asked them everyday if they have a BRP for me at my address and I found them helpful as they told me that today you will be receiving it and I did.

Hi R-graphite,

Did you get an email or a message notification when your BRP is being delivered as I've had my decision/approval email on 7th January along with Arrpoval letter same day but not received BRP yet and it is of no help when contacting Home Office or DX they are just making me go round and round in circles

Waiting since 22nd Dec on Priority 10 days visa service.

Called Home Office, they just told me to send the email to the email address they provided.

Has anyone got the Dependent Visa on priority service recently ?

Not sure what to do and how long need to wait.

No email or letter from home office so far.

I applied for my wife's SET(LR) using new service and super priority next day option on 01 Jan, 2019 and booked appointment for £100 in Birmingham centre for Wed, 09 Jan. Location near Birmingham airport was easy to find with ample free parking. Appointment time was for 10am and we got there at 9:40am. Surprised that room was full of people, probably from morning appointments. The waiting room was pretty small and cramped. Main officer in charge and all others were nice though, friendly, first checked appointment details and passport, then called for biometrics after 1/2 hour and finally we were called for document upload after another 1 hour. In all, we left the office just after 12pm, so process took around 2.5 hours, because some people take a long time to upload their documents. We however had uploaded most of ours beforehand but still needed half hour for checks and submission. I asked person about document upload page which only allows for uploading to optional documents and she said that was fine. Apparently, the passport scan they do themselves and is part of the mandatory category. Next two days on Thurs and Friday we were expecting to hear from case worker by email within 24 hours, but we got letter in post signed for on Monday, third working day after we had the appointment, which was dated 11 Jan. So it took longer than 24 hours and perhaps because ours was a complicated case. Result was not good, we got refused. But point is, procedure was pretty straightforward. Hope others have a good experience!
