Confirmation after the UKVCAS appointment to prove application submission

Hi all,

I went with my wife (applicant) to the Croydon visa centre to complete biometrics and review supporting information for a spouse visa extension (FLR M).

After the document checking process, we were asked if we were happy for the application to be submitted and said yes.

We were told there is no confirmation email that comes out to confirm the application has been sent. Does anyone know how I could obtain confirmation as it currently looks like nothing has changed (when I log onto the UKVCAS Sopra Steria website where the documents were uploaded, or on the Gov UK website where the application was made).

I has the same issue. In addition, I found the UKVCAS system is still editable, still can upload, delete documents, is it the same for you as well?

It looks to be the case for everyone it seems. My appointment was on the 10th of January. I did ask at Croydon if there was any way to confirm submission but they said there wasn't.

Yes, same case for me. The UKVCAS website still allows me to upload, delete documents etc.

I was tempted to go back to Croydon to double check they submitted the application (BRP expires on 24th Jan 2019). Or even call the expensive telephone number to ask them directly if it was submitted.

Any other ideas of what could be done to gain comfort that the application has been submitted?
