Financial Requirement for Spouse Visa Extension 2019

Hi,

My visa expires in december 2019. the financial requirement is to be earning 18600 but i dont meet this. however my wife has savings of 62500.

i wanted to ask how do i declare this as it is her inheritance. can i say this or will this not be accepted?
if not what do i have to say or do? do i say it was received as a gift? however some of it is her own savings..

also we have been living together for 2 years and also have a newborn baby. but my wife doesnt have letters backdated 2 years to show we have been living at the same address. she transferred everything over but never needed letters to be sent to her. what can i do?

I believe she needs to evidence the money has been in her account for the last six months, by showing the last 6 bank statements when you apply. If you wish to give a reason, just be honest and say it's inheritance?.

Doesn't she have any letters from any source?
Have you been living with family? They can provide a letter to confirm your stay with them which would help.

yes we can show it will be in the account for 6 months but was wondering will they ask where the money has come from?

everything is handled online now.. and yes we have been living with family so dont have bills on our names either.

No letters from registration with GP, hospital appointments, college etc? No bank statements?

bank statements are online.. there is hospital letters but this is only going back 8-9 months. not the 2 years thats required

I would change your bank statements now to paper statements unless you want to obtain printed/stamped/signed statements near your application date.

If you can provide a letter from family to confirm your residence with them, for what dates, this does help.

Maybe experts can advise what is best advice if there's no other correspondence.
