By FULL immigration history I mean a list of the visas you've held since you entered the UK and why you now need to apply for Discretionary Leave

The dates you've given simply tell members how long you've been in the UK and not under what circumstances :!:

You can certainly apply, but there's no guarantee it will be granted.

How old is your son and where was he born? Assuming that he meets the requirements, he can apply for FLR(FP), not DLR. Your application would be secondary to his.
Immigration Rules - Private Life wrote:276ADE (1). The requirements to be met by an applicant for leave to remain on the grounds of private life in the UK are that at the date of application, the applicant:
...
(iv) is under the age of 18 years and has lived continuously in the UK for at least 7 years (discounting any period of imprisonment) and it would not be reasonable to expect the applicant to leave the UK; or
(v) is aged 18 years or above and under 25 years and has spent at least half of his life living continuously in the UK (discounting any period of imprisonment); or
(vi) subject to sub-paragraph (2), is aged 18 years or above, has lived continuously in the UK for less than 20 years (discounting any period of imprisonment) but there would be very significant obstacles to the applicant’s integration into the country to which he would have to go if required to leave the UK.
Note that for children under 18, it also needs to be proven why it is unreasonable to expect the applicant to leave the UK. Mere residence is not enough.

Thank you for the reply; my son was born in India and he is 12 years old. As he was in this country since he was 4 years old and is very much used to this lifestyle and education system.Would this help as a reason or do you think it would be better to apply it through professional help.

You have been asked and advised numerous times by moderator Casa what the forum rules are regarding posting of solicitor contact information. The forum members are all normal migrants on an immigration journey who offer the advice for free based on experience. The forum is not a legal firm etc.
