Fiance Visa Application

Post by angelist2 » Wed Jan 30, 2019 9:03 am

Hello all,

I have a few questions about fiance visa application. I am living in Turkey, my fiance is living in UK. Recently he has got his indefinite leave to remain. We have been known each other more than 2 years now. We met online at the end on 2016 , my first visit to UK was at September 2017. I stayed with him 9 days. We have been talking hours everyday since March 2017. My second visit to UK was in February 2018 and i stayed with him full month. First day of my second visit, he proposed me with a family heirloom ring (I am not sure if there is any invoice or not). After I came back, we wanted to apply for fiance visa however we did not have the money back then and he had to renew his settlement thing. So we decided to wait it out. In summer 2018 we tried to apply for a visit visa for me (in the letter he said i was his fiance, i will be coming to visit him during his birthday etc). However visa got refused, because at that time we thought it was enough for him to sponsor me. I was working in a temp minimum wage job so i did not add any job details on my part. I am normally a chemist and right now working in my area.

Now he got his indefinite leave to remain we want to apply for fiance visa. However he has a new job now, he only have one pay slip from this one. And he has online pay slips from his previous job. So we do not know what kind of a route we should follow to show his working status and playslips. Do you have any suggestions?

As for language requirements, I graduated from a university in Turkey. Program was in full english and it is the most prestigious university in Turkey, I have my diploma supplement stating that program was in full english. Do I need further proof on that department? (Any exam or application?)

As for to prove our relationship is serious and real, we have thousands of facebook/whatsapp/discord calls and messages. We have facebook birthday messages etc. We have hotel bookings and pictures. I am not sure what else to include to be honest.

I know these are a lot to ask. But if you can answer any of these questions, I will appreciate a lot.
Thanks in advance.

The easiest and economical way if he marry you outside the UK and then you straight apply spouse visa instead fiancée visa. Otherwise he will have to show the marriage plans and arrangements and plus the same documents which are required for getting the spouse visa like English language, accommodation and financial requirement. Since you havenot got the degree from UK and is not from English speaking country so you will definitely have to sit for HO approved English language test or have to get your degreed be assessed from NARIC under their red route which in both cases incur same cost. Regarding financial requirement and if he has just started a new job then he can apply under category B where firstly he must have earned £18600 during the last 12 months and secondly his new job must be giving at least £18600 per year at the time of application (if salaried) or he must have earned at least £9300 during the last 6 months (if non-salaried where wages vary).

Threads are not deleted. Why are you posting under two different user names? This is not permitted under the Board Ts&Cs, which you were required to read on registering. :!:

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Thank you so much for your answer. He was earning more than 18600 on his previous job. it is the same case for this one too. There is no break between jobs

In my guess it should be settlement because the same you have to choose when filling the online spouse visa application.
