ICT Professional Visa Holder ?

Post by ZINKX » Tue Jun 10, 2008 2:37 pm

Hi ,

I have completed my MSc Computer Science from Dublin. While I was doin my masters I got the job and converted to ICT Professional visa.

Due to some reasons I resigned from my job had to come back to India in Jan 2008 .

Now my visa is expired and I am still in India , how can I extend/renew my visa ?

And can I apply for Work Holiday Visa, and if I can then how can I apply , as it will be much easier to look for new job once I am personally there in Dublin ???

Thanks
ZINKX

You will have to start from scratch and as far as I'm aware Indian nationals are not eligible for the working holiday scheme.

I think that you are referring to the "graduate scheme" here. A working holiday visa is an agreement between two governments allowing for (usually a quota) of young citizens (18-30) to work/holiday in each others countries for a time period of usually a year. As far as I'm aware an agreement exists between Ireland and Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Hong Kong and Japan.
