which visa to apply HSMP or Tier1 .. please advise

Hi guys,

I am a New Zealand Resident and Indian citizen. I would like to migrate to UK as skilled worker. I am confuse with the new system and have two question. It will be great if anyone can advise on this please.

1. From where I am suppose to apply ..India or New Zealand. I am New Zealand Resident (from 3 yrs) but Indian Citizen. All my earnings are from NZ only

2. Tier1 is not applicable in NZ yet. As per NZ British consulate website currently its HSMP only. I am not sure as Indian citizen what I am suppose to apply.

Do we submit HSMP application direct to UK office ?

You should apply from the country of residence - NZ. You would have to apply for HSMP.

Thanks for the reply guys. I am still not clear about posting my HSMP application i.e. where should I post it...

The last reply was for EC clearance. I believe that Part 2 of application i.e. once HSMP is approved.

You will get all the information you need from the BIA website. Alternatively, HSMP guidance notes have all the required information regarding the scheme and the application procedures. Suggest that you read it carefully.
