FLR M Accomodation Requirement

Hi All,

I am in a stressful situation now,

My wife applied for FLR(M) first application last Saturday on Super Priority service and waiting for the decision.

I was reading the caseworker guidance and it says we need to provide evidence to show accomodation. My Tenancy agreement was expiring last week so didnt submit it. They were 2 options one for Tenancy agreement and other was council tax bills. I have submitted council tax bills for 3 years so thought its is enough. Apart from that i hav provided required cohabitation proof(more than 20 altogether) on the same address.

Please advice me if my wife visa will be refused on this issue.

cohabitation proof is about past and its not suggesting anything about current and future accommodation status. I think no one can predict outcome of visa here but tenancy document should have been submitted if it was valid at the time of application OR you should have tried to renew it before applying ..There are many documents you need to send to satisfy accommodation requirements i.e tenancy agreement,Gas/electric/water bills, council tax, letter from landlord, property inspection report etc always better to provide as many as possible to minimise the risk of refusal on ground of adequate maintenance

Do you think they can refuse visa on this issue.

During application they were 2 options,
1) Tenancy agreement
2) Evidence for Council tax costs for accommodation where you live or to live.

I have ticked second option and it took me to other section. I have provided 3 years of Council tax letters which i am paying monthly direct debit.

Again no one can predict outcome of application because its in hand of immigration officer and he will make decision as per his understanding of rules

dont know if just sending council tax is enough ...You can send them above documents for your own peace of mind with application reference and letter

No non-applicant member can see the actual online form but generally a council tax alone is not a proof of accommodation but is counted as proof of address. Usually council tax along with tenancy agreement fulfill the purpose.

I have applied for Super priority service and waiting for decision. I dont know what to do now and also where to send the tennncy agreement as i applied through online.

Do you think they will refuse on this basis, We fulfilled all the other criteria such as financial, relationship and also we have a child which i have applied MN1 recently.

Would you mind advising why you opted for the super priority service? Was there an urgent matter or simply you wanted a decision quickly?
