I have called UKVI Contact Center on 0300 123 2241.

I have applied my wife application using Priority Service.

As HomeOffice were not able to process my application in 10 working days, they have said that any application which they cannot process in time frame falls under standard service based on the application type.

Dependant Visa standard processing time frame is within 8 weeks.

So they said mine is now in standard service and you will get know about the result in 8 weeks of time. And your priority fees will be refunded.

8 Weeks are from the date of the Biometric.

My wife application is straight forward case.

I received an email from case worker that I have pay top up fee for my application as I paid for shortage occupation previously.at least someone seem to be working on my application.No idea how long it will take to get the BRP.completed 5 weeks from BRP after priority application.

Our 8-weeks is up so I called the help centre today.

We got a response by email saying

Our records show your application has not yet been completed.

We are unable to advise when a decision will be made but you will be notified in writing once made. Until such time, we are unable to assist further.

We are sorry we cannot be of further assistance at this time.

What do they mean, that we did not the application properly or they haven't made a decision?
Please help

Harris, I received the email few days back.It means application is under process.seems like a generic email reply.

Hello Everyone,

Finally good news after long wait. Today I received my BRP Card.

My Timelines is as below;
Online Application Submitted :- 12-Dec
Biometric Done :- 22-Dec
Brp Received :- 16-Feb
Notification Letter :- 16-Feb

3 Escalation done so far by calling 03001232241

And have not done any escalation to MP nor I have sent any complaint email to home office.

I applied using priority service but on my last escalation, I was been told that my application has been now on standard service as home office was not able to process the application within standard time frame for priority service.

So basically what I was been told was right as my application was processed within 8 weeks which is the standard time frame for PBS dependent application.

Still waiting for the refund.

This forum has really helped me with all my queries and I thank everyone for helping me out.

I wish Good luck to everyone waiting for their visas.

So they working on Sat as well. have you received letter via Royal Mail (Priority - with signature) and BRP in DX courier.

Hi Neilin, Raj and others who got approval for Tier 2. Can u pls check with your old BRP card number in below link and see does the old BRP says as expired or it showing updated with new validity date.

To be honest letter does not make any difference at all.

But they definitely send letter. And you might receive it soon.

By the way the letter is signed delivery so someone has to sign it.

Thanks Ariff...both BRP number gives the same updated new date. This way one can keep checking with old BRP also until they get any formal communication.

Did any one who had given their Bio Metrics during Mid of Jan, 2019 for ICT Tier 2 (non priority) got their decision? I know it is taking 8 weeks, but it will be good to know if any one got their decision on their application before that time.
