Applying for spouse Visa extension

My wife spouse visa was granted and she came in UK on 28 August 2017. Her Visa expires 5 May 2020.
Can you please tell me when should I apply for her Visa extension. I need to know as soon as I can so I can be prepared for the application.

No earlier than 28 days before she completes 30 months of residence in the UK and no later than the current visa's expiry date.
