Dear members
I have been waiting for the result of my set(o) ILR application in T1E since October. I also enclosed two dependants 2rd extension applications with me.
However my wife have met the 5 years requirement by now. As some members mentioned varying the applications, I started to wondering is it worth to vary their applications to ILR at this stage( they would go for super priority services rather than standard services).
My concerns would be
1.As a main applicant myself, my application should not be deferred, right?(the waiting is stressful)
2. If my wife and kid vary the applications, I would expected some delays in the super priority service. But I would like to think it wouldn't take too long as my application is not far to reach 6 months time frame right?
Any words would be highly appreciated. thanks
By the way, my wife's first PBS dependent visa was issued on 5th Mar 2014, entered uk 20th April 2014.

Your application is still pending so your dependents cant opt for super priority atm. Their application depends on your decision. It will only be decided after yours.
Were you sent any complex letter since Oct or any communication via HO?

thank you for your quick respond, I had my solicitor helped me file the applications so all the correspondences from HO would go to her. I haven't asked her about complex letter or so on, she would only chase for me when it is past 6months. It seems to her that it is quite normal as all other similar cases received results around 5-5.5months

Yes the standard time is 6 months so nothing to worry. But usually they send a complex letter after 3 months or some kind of communication if the application is taking longer (atleast I have seen this in cases reported on this forum).
Keep us updated with the timeline.
How long did your extension take?
Goodluck!
