Pregnant Daughter with NZ Boyfriend

Post by paulwilko10 » Mon Feb 18, 2019 5:30 pm

Hello

Got a bit of a strange one that I would like advice on please.

My step Daughter has dual passport, both NZ and UK.
She currently lives in NZ with her Dad since she was 13 but before was here in the UK with myself and her Mum.

She and her boyfriend want to come to the UK for at least 2 years.
He is a NZ national.
She is pregnant with his child and she already has a child not his.

Which Visa would he be best to apply for and what chance has he got of getting it?

Many thanks

Paul

She needs to meet the financial requirement to sponsor a partner. She can use foreign income if it meets the requirement AND has a confirmed job offer in the UK to start within 3 months of arriving.

In addition to CR001's advice, in order to qualify as unmarried partners they will have to submit documented evidence of living together in a relationship 'akin to marriage' for a minimum of 2 years.
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
