Received a call today from 01140106172 which is a sheffield number but I missed it. No voicemail left
Trying calling the number back but it just doesnt go through (no bell or anything)
So Im thinking what are the odds of getting a call from sheffield whilst waiting for a response and it not being the Home Office? But then why wont they leave a voicemail?
What shall I do in this situation? Shall i contact them myself? It has only been a month since the biometrics were done and i did not pay for priority service
They will call u back. Its normally q phone interview.
I actually emailed them and received three emails on the same day
1st email
"Thank you for your enquiry, we can confirm we have received your message.
We aim to respond to your email in 2 working days.
If you haven't heard from us after 2 working days, you can call us, quoting your reference number"
2nd email
"Thank you for the information you have provided.
We escalated your case to the relevant department .
You should be contacted regarding your case as soon as possible.
Your patience is highly appreciated"
3rd email
"Thank you for using UKVI Contact Centre Services for enquiry Reference #xxxxxxxxx. We hope that we answered your enquiry to your satisfaction. Please take a moment to complete our short survey."
What does this mean?
They have said in the second email that they have escalated my case. Why?
I just made a simple enquiry asking if they called me.
Then the final email says that we hope we have answered your enquiry but they havent though
Can someone help?
