Appendix 2 Form enquiry

Post by muhussain88 » Thu Feb 21, 2019 6:17 pm

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of filling out the Appendix 2 Form for my wife's visa application. I have an enquiry about ‘Question 3.27. What type of employment is this?’
I am employed through agency and it only provides with temporary employment or permanent employment so I am confused with which option to choose. Even though I am employed by an agency, I have been working at the same company for over 2 years and full time.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Saying it permanent should be fine.

Advice on gathering and presenting WhatsApp call/video history for my wife's visa application

Post by muhussain88 » Sat Feb 23, 2019 12:57 pm

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of applying for wife’s visa application and currently gathering information from WhatsApp showing how we have communicated.

Below is what I am planning to show:
1) I have emailed myself the whole chat log history between me and my wife.
2) I have screenshots of a video call between me and my wife. She has also taken screenshots from her mobile and sent them to me.
3) Selective screenshots of chat log on WhatsApp to show what we actually see as the chat log history is on Microsoft Word.
4) Screenshots of my profile on WhatsApp where is shows my photo as well as my number. I have also asked my wife to do the same and sent it to me.

The chat log history between me and my wife is over 200 pages, what is the best way to show this? Is it ok to selective choose 1 or 2 pages from each month?

Also is it better to show my wife’s number instead of her name. Initially I was going to take screenshots of her name displayed but I thought it would be more solid information to show her mobile number.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

The way im doing it is taking screenshots at the end of each month (or start of the next) and taking a screenshot of a months conversation (1x a day by missing a couple of days to just limit it to 26 a month) and also of my fiances whatsapp info page (showing her profile picture, last seen time and number). I wouldn't submit actual extracts on word.

Take as much as you can the screenshots of chat log and video call logs. Donot export or email the chat because it can be edited.

Thank you replying.

I have decided not to export the chat log as it can be easily edited. So on the WhatsApp chat, i have taken 2 or 3 screenshots from each month (March 2018 to February 2019).

Also from the WhatsApp call/video history list, Ive taken screenshots of the full list from March 2018 to February 2019.

Do you think this will be ok?

I am abit confused with whether to show my wife's number instead of her name. Because I think as you can change the name of the contact on WhatsApp, is it best to show screenshots of the WhatsApp chat and call/video history showing her number? I have included her WhatsApp profile which shows her photo and mobile number. Do you think it will be ok to do abit of both, screenshots from the WhatsApp chat and call/video history showing her mobile number and some showing her name instead of her mobile number

In my opinion 2-3 screenshots from each months seems quite less which should be more than that although has no official set limit. You can show either or both (number & name) because it wouldn't make any difference because not just whatsapp chat log/video logs will be enough to meet the subsisting relationship evidences rather other evidences such as travel tickets, gifts sending receipts, pictures, family gathering, money sending receipts etc or other similar evidences will also be required to be seen.

Hi. Not to be overkill but a friend of mine had a successful application and has advised me:
1) 3-5 Screenshots per day
2) when you take the what’s App Screenshots, if you’re careful enough, the blue timestamp will show, so be sure to get that in

Including your other points too! I’d be interested to know how you get on with this as I’m compiling what’s app evidence too.

I applied for my wife's visa in December, here is what we submitted:

From my side, random screenshots of our conversation, taken directly in word, limited to two screenshots per month (clearly showing the day/date of said conversation, which becomes visible when you scroll, so take screenshot, just after you scroll on iOS) , added both of them to keynote/powerpoint side by side, and printed them for a year.

From her side, she took random extracts from the Whatsapp chat export.

Also submitted our facebook photo (indicating day of posting/likes/comments)

That all did the trick, and we got it in exact 30 working days.

Time frame between the bio metric appointment to sending the supporting documents

Post by muhussain88 » Thu Feb 28, 2019 1:38 pm

Hey guys,

Just a quick advice, my wife is going to her biometric appointment in Lahore tomorrow.

I am planning on sending the supporting documents tomorrow too as I submitted the online application on the 4th of Feb so they is a abit of gap. My last payslip date is 25th January 2019 and my last bank statement is 31st January 2019.

I believe you have 28 days from the time you submit your online application in order for the pay slips and bank statments to be acceptable. Is this correct?
