Further information requested by Home office after RCOS application

Post by varshashastri » Wed Feb 27, 2019 11:44 am

Hi friends,
I am working on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa but my employer wanted to sponser me the tier 2 general Visa.
We had applied for rcos on 25th of February and the UKBA has come back asking for further information such as my payslips and contract.
Is this normal? Or does it indicate any problem with my application?
Kindly reply

Did your employer complete the full and proper RLMT process?

What is the SOC for your job they have asked the RCoS for?

Many sponsors are asked for more documents prior to the monthly meeting on the 11th. You will need to wait to see if the RCoS is approved.

What is your current salary and what was the salary posted in the RLMT??

How long have you worked for the company and in what job role?

Employment between 2 Visas

Post by varshashastri » Mon Apr 08, 2019 4:04 pm

Hi,
I am moving from Tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General Visa. My husband's Visa is ending on April 30th and then I will be going back to India to get my Tier 2 General.
Do I need to quit and rejoin my current employer in between the time when I go for my Visa?

No. Presumably though the RLMT was properly conducted to prove you were not 'pre-selected' or the RLMT was not tailored to benefit you and exclude all others.

RLMT is done and the CoS is assigned to me already.
During those 10-15 days when I await my Visa I will not have a work permit to work in UK. Can I still be employed with the UK organization?

You won't be IN the UK, so why do you think it is an issue?

HO can still scrutinise the RLMT at visa application stage.

Does me not quitting affect the HO's scrutity towards RLMT? Or are they 2 separate things?
Is it better to quit and rejoin? Or do lot of people continue employment in between 2 visas

Many remain employed while they wait abroad for their visas.

Employed or not while you wait overseas for your visa decision makes no difference.

The issue is pre-selection for the role and by default a failure to complete the RLMT in a fair and open manner.

Out of interest is your Spouse returning with you?

Details of RLMT on CoS

Post by varshashastri » Tue Apr 09, 2019 4:52 pm

Hi,
What are the mandatory details to be given in the field :
"Give details of the resident labour market test including where and when the post was advertised and reference number(s) for mandatory advertising" in CoS?
My immigration specialist has written the following:

Advertising was conducted for the mandatory 28 days on the online website ? Indeed on , Job ID: and also placed on Find A Job on abc ? Job ID: xyz

Note that the job ID for indeed is empty. When asked about it she said it is fine and it is already approved by home office. Will this prove to be a problem for our Tier 2 visa application?

Hi, My wife is also in the same situation. Employer couldnt find Indeed Job ID but provided Find A Job ref ID. What has been the visa result in your case?
