Tier2 General Visa extension after 5years for myself and dependent

Hi, Need Guidance!!
I'm am completing 5 years on Tier2 general visa which expires on 22nd March 2019 ( Initially came on a 1 year visa and then extended for 2 years and then again for 2 years [1+2+2 ->5 year in total]). My family has been in the UK only for 4years and 6months ( 6months +2+2 -> 4Years and 6months). I applied for Tier2 dependent visa for my family only after 6months of me coming to the UK.

1) Can i extend my visa for another year?
2) If i apply for ILR, Can i apply for Tier2 general dependent visa extension for my family?, so after the 5years completion for then, they can apply for ILR.

Yes, if your sponsor will issue a CoS. You can hold a Tier 2 General visa for a maximum of 6 years.

2) If i apply for ILR, Can i apply for Tier2 general dependent visa extension for my family?, so after the 5years completion for then, they can apply for ILR.

Yes. They will apply for a 3 year dependent extension. IHS of £1200 plus visa fee must be paid. If your ILR fails, their extension will also fail.

You can apply for your dependent via standard service but it's all online. No more postal service since Sopra Steria UKVCAS service.
