I can't see anything that would prevent you from doing that. Is there any specific concern you have ?change123 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 5:20 pmDear Moderator,
I need an urgent advice regarding the type of business under Tier-1 entrepreneur visa.
We tried foodstuff whole sale business which not going well and now want to change to provide home caring to old and disable peoples through local council. We need to arrange rented home and provide hostel and caring facility to old age and disable people. On the other hand, the council will pay us for such services.
Hereby, I need your export advice if this business is covered under Tier-1 entrepreneur in order to get the extension and later ILR.
Thanks
You heard wrong. There is no restriction for an T1Ent holder to buy residential property and rent it out.change123 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 7:09 pmMy query is if this business comes under Tier-1 Entrepreneur as at the time of extension they would asked the type of business and if we mentioned that we provided home/hostel to the old age people and if this type of business is ok for this visa.
As I heard that Tier-1 entrepreneur holder cannot buy residential property and cannot rent this out to show as a business. This business will be similar to that like taking homes on rent and offered old home services to old age or disable people and taking money from council.
I hope I am able to explain my question.
That is very clearly not a business activity where investment would be recognised.change123 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 11:07 amThanks so much for your kind reply.
It is good not to start such business which are doubtful.
Another business in my book planning to buy old properties through auction and repair/ refurbish, decorate it and sell in the market.
Is this considerable investment under Tieir-1 route?
Appreciated for your expert advice.
Thanks
