Travelling with 2 months validity on Tier 2 visa

Post by rthakur » Wed Jan 09, 2019 4:05 pm

Hi All,

I am on tier 2 general visa expiring on 15 may 2019.

I will be eligible for ILR application from 06 March 2019.

I am travelling outside UK for personnel trip for 3 weeks in Feb 19, on my return 01 March 19, I will have 2.5 months of valid Tier 2 visa.

Question - Is there anything in guideline which suggest minimum visa requirement while coming back to UK.

Have any board member travelled with less valid tier 2 visa previously please share your experience. I don't want to be in the position where I cannot enter UK for this reason when I am eligible for my ILR in a week.

I am also thinking of taking employers letter which would mention that I am on my annual leave and will be continuing work on my return and will apply for my settlement on my return.

Thanks

1. Please refrain from digging up older topics to tag onto.

2. You are free to travel and re enter the UK as long as you have a valid visa. There is NO requirement that you must have X number of months left to be able to re enter the UK.

Hi rthakur,

Would you mind to share what happened to the above query. I have the same scenario as yours.
