Indefinite leave to remain

Post by Ibtissam » Wed Jan 30, 2019 12:09 pm

Hi there! I want to apply for ILR but I’m struggling in the finance part. My husband was employed and now he’s self employed For the last 3 months, I don’t know how to combine them because when I start with self employed in the application they ask for the last financial year and how much he made for the last year ( the company is only 3 months). And when I try to start with employed it doesn’t let me to put it as previouse jobe ( they show only current job option). can please give me an advice
We already meet the financial requirement with the previous job ( employed)

Income under Category F or Category G can be combined with income from salaried and non-salaried employment, non-employment income and pension income in order to meet the financial requirement. However, unlike with other Categories, these sources of income must fall within the relevant financial year(s) in order to be included. Under Category F or Category G, all sources of income must fall within the financial year(s) relied on and must still be a source of income at the time of application.

Indefinite leave to remain

Hi, I applied for ILR a week ago, and talking about I with someone, he said that my case is complicated and documents I’ve submitted are wrong.
the case is my husband is director for his own company for the last 4 months, on pairoll paying himself fixed salary. He was employed before( with the same company he’s working with now - for last 4 months they asked them to change from empoloyed to self employed )
Now for the financial documents I’ve sent:
Last 12 bank statements
8 payslips of the Previous job(employed)
Letter from the previous job when he start and redoundancy date, plus how much he earned ...etc
P45 and p60
Last 4 payslips for the current post (director)
Letter from accountant for the current job
Company registration letter
Business account bank statements
Ps: he exceed the financial requirement with the previous job 30,000£

So I’ve been told that this is a wrong way to calculate income and a 10 years route is gonna be given instead of ILR, can you please provide any info!

I merged your question here as you asked a question before in Jan regarding your ILR !
You have been given advice before on this matter regarding the financial requirements and that document makes it clear on how to qualify for SET(M)
Self employment income does NOT count unless you can provide a tax self assessment for a relevant tax year. You also been advised on how to mix self employment income and other employment above. If you do not qualify, you cannot get ILR and you will be given visa under 10 year partner route
