Regarding administrative review

Post by Aniken221 » Tue Mar 12, 2019 3:17 pm

Hi
I've lodged my administrative review on the 31st of Jan and I still haven't received a decision from the home office. They've emailed me twice telling me that there will be delays and they have given dates ok both those emails as to when I can expect a decision.

I was just wondering how long does it normally take for a tier 4 administrative review decision.

Btw personally I'd say my case is very strong since I had recorded my entire interview on my phone and I have evidence that they have done some case working errors.

Regarding administrative review

I have split your post and moved it to the TIER 4 Sub forum as you tagged onto a topic for Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa application, which is not relevant to student visas.

Regarding administrative review

Post by Aniken221 » Tue Mar 12, 2019 3:22 pm

Hi everyone!

I had some questions regarding the administrative review.I submitted my administrative review on the 31st of Jan and I still haven't received a decision.
They've mailed me twice saying that there will be delays in my application decision and in both emails they've given me dates as to when I can expect a decision but they've failed to keep their word.

Regarding my case itself I'd say it is very strong as I have recorded my entire phone interview taken by HO and I have submitted it as part of my evidence on my AR.It is quite clear from the recording that they've made a lot of case working errors.

Just wanted to known How long it normally takes for an AR if there are delays/or no delays.

They had mailed me yesterday to expect a decision on the 25th of March so I'm currently waiting.

As you have been notified to expect a decision by a certain date, suggest wait till then.

What were the reasons for refusal?

I had 6 reasons for refusal

The first one was about my future plans I had asked about the companies where I said I wanted to work.
I clearly stated in my interview why I wanted to work for them and my recording is proof of that.
In the refusal letter however they said I didn't day anything about it.

There were 2 other questions about my course cornet and modules both of which I gave the answer to and even named the specific modules.
Again they said that I haven't specified anything.

I was also asked about my father's income which I answered by telling his income in both local currency and in pounds.
Again HO stated that I answered only in pounds and not in my local currency.Even if I hadn't it is not something to refuse a student over.

Fifth.I was asked if I had verified the salaries I'd receive from the companies if I worled from them.In the interview I said that I had but in the refusal letter they said I didn't.

The last reason was that they didn't believe my investment in an international education isn't worth it.Which obviously is very offensive to say and quite ridiculous as well.

My interview recoding disproves all these claims which btw I have provided with my AR.
