Nmas it was the same case with me. Exactly the same. Only one acknowledgement email once I submitted online and nothing after.
Hi approximately 12000 refugee granted in 2014 and all due ILR in 2019. It’s mean average 50 applications daily also these are main applicants dependants not included.

Surprised if home Office decided simple applications in 3-4 months.

We all know it’s very stressful period for all of us but have no other option.

Still waiting is hard specially ILR is life line for us.

Dear friends
Unfortunately from 10/09/2018 till now and I am still waiting for the decision
The home office sent us a letter on 29/11/2018 and they said that my application is complex on nature and they will try to make a decision by 10/06/2019 but they didn't explain the reasons.
I am a mother of two baby
My husband also waiting for his partner extension visa decision
He was working with deliveroo as self-employed but they put his account on hold from October 2018 they said this is because he is self-employed so they can check his right of work via HMRC
We contacted the MP but they ask us to wait.
We don't get any benefit and we don't know if we can apply for benefits now.
Please advise me what can I do.
I am very depressing and my health get worse day by day
😥😥

Have you ask your solicitor what possible complexity in your case.

Actually, I don't have enough money to make a solicitor
And I think the problem is my country of origin because my criminal record is clear and I don't have any other issues
My application is set(p)

Where you are from? Probably that can be the reason or maybe coz you have dependents on your application.

How long after applying did you get the email or letter saying we cannot decide your case within 6 months ?

Congratulations asma ali

Very happy for you as you applied 1 week after me got yours already. MashaAllah congratulations.

Can I please ask if your application was simple and what is your country of origin?

Also did you get any monthly update emails after applying during last 2 months or only one acknowledgement email.

Last question yesterday roughly what time did you receive your approval email?

Please help. Thanks

Oh ok. So there was no confirmation email.

Did they send you any status updates as well in those two months?

As I applied on 02/01/2019 coz my status was expiring on 31/01/2019

I got the acknowledgement email on 03/01/2019 and since than i have never heard anything and i am from Pakistan as well and my application is also simple but still haven’t heard anything from
Them yet.

I am self employed and my partner company didn’t renew my contract and that has put me in serious financial situation.

I don’t know how long they will take and if it will be a positive reply?

As I haven’t heard anything from them since the first acknowledgement email.

Worried 😟

You really don’t need to worry InshaAllah you will get a positive reply

I only received one acknowledgment email i didn’t get any status email in 2 months
Don’t worry about them it all depends on case worker some case workers send emails some don’t average waiting time is approximately 3 months but it can be 6 months

If your asylum claim is still valid and you don’t have any criminal record then there shouldn’t be any problem

Raihassan

Approval letter comes via normal delivery and brp through special delivery signature required for it

I received both about 9:30

UKVCAS Sopra Steria staff told us that the standard decision time is 8 weeks after submitting biometric data and validating/uploading all documents in the appointment, although this is somewhat contradictory to the official "up to 6 months" from application receipt reference date, in the acknowledgment email.

I applied on 02 jan online and on 03 jan i submitted my documents and biometrics.
It has been 10 weeks and haven’t heard anything yet.

So not sure about 8 weeks but my career is suffering because of this delay. I don’t know why home office takes that long on simple case with no criminal record or anything, high tax payer...

Still waiting desperately for the door to knock and get a good news GOD willing...

You should get a positive decision within 6 months. Some caseworkers have less caseload so they decide it quick and some have overload which takes time.Tax have nothing to do with this application.I know a man who throughout 5 yrs stayed on benefits and got ilr & then nationality. It also depends on grounds of asylum and related country of origin situation.
Goodluck

Have not heard from waitinglad and peacelover anyone know anything about them.

It’s true depend on work load home office take time also depend on individual cases specially dependents involved. They need to check each member separately. Also they check travel history.

Hopefully all of us get positive reply really stressful time.

Hello everyone

I have been a silent observer since many years. I, the main applicant along with my three dependents applied for refugee ILR online (new service) on 12th January 2019 and enrolled biimetrics at the sopra steria service centre on 22nd January 2019. I am a Pakistani national. We received our BRP cards yesterday. Still waiting for the approval letter to come by post.

5 years limited leave expiry: 30/01/2019
Applied online for SET(P) ILR: 12/01/2019
Documents submitted qt service centre: 22/01/2019
Biometric done: 22/01/2019
Acknowledgement email: 13/01/2019
Status progress emails: - 12/02/2019 and 12/03/2019
Approval letter: - Still waiting
BRP recieved: - Received on 21/03/2019

Application processing time starts from the day when biometrics are enrolled. For us, they made a decision in 1 month and 25 days.

Just to clarify that we were granted original Refugee status by the Home Office without any refusals and not from the Court. This makes the ILR application processing time speedy as the Home Office carries out an extensive review for the people who were granted refugee status by the Courts.

Boimetrics done : 03/01/2019

Application received email received: 03/01/2019

It took 2 months 20 days to be exact.
