As it was a priority application we were told we would receive result in 30 working days which was on 13.03.2019
I contacted UKVI thrice and the advisers confirmed every time that the decision was made on 06.03.019
Last call we made was on 15th march and were asked to wait for 10 working days to get a confirmation. On hearing nothing till now I contacted them again today quoting the reference no. of last call only to get a response saying they can not do anything about it and the only option we have is to wait.

I am just getting a bit tensed, worried and confused about the whole situation. We don't really know who to contact and get an update on passport delivery and visa decision.

I have also tried contacting VFS via email but no response from them at all too ..

Bit of a dilemma here

I have less than 3 weeks to go before my 60 working days expire and this is 21 non working days.

On the one hand, I want to contact the HO to get an update because my application was very straightfoward and I did not go over the top with providing documentation like some silly people do.

A decision should honestly have been made by now.


Now on the other hand, I do not wish to make the HO aware that they are running out of time on my application so they can say before that my case is not straightforward and they cannot respond within 60 working days.

Ive noticed they only send this email before the expiry of application processing time.

So what shall I do?

NB- I do not want to hear any negativity and pessimistic comments like HO can still email that the case is not straightforward after the 60 day period. Dont wanna hear that nonsense.

Currently waiting for a response for my wifes visa application

Received a call today from 01140106172 which is a sheffield number but I missed it. No voicemail left

Trying calling the number back but it just doesnt go through (no bell or anything)

So Im thinking what are the odds of getting a call from sheffield whilst waiting for a response and it not being the Home Office? But then why wont they leave a voicemail?

What shall I do in this situation? Shall i contact them myself? It has only been a month since the biometrics were done and i did not pay for priority service

Don't worry even if they soton call bak. It wont effect ur case. I heard from alot of people that they got call and they missed it and then they got decision.

it took me 7 days to below documents as I was not expecting mail like this , I mailed below documents twice on 8 march19 but I have not received anyacknowledgment or return mail from them..
As already 51 days have gone.

1 whatsapp call logs screenshots from june17onwards...total 11 pages
2 photos before marriage,5nos.
3 money receipts sent in My fathersname....since I remain in office most of the time.
4 mailingbag in which gift was received by me from My wife
5Letters of support from family and friends

Can u pls advise..was that sufficient proof....they have not turned back since then.. ..imreally getting tense day by day???
