FLR (O) application

Post by AhsanZamir » Sun Mar 24, 2019 10:14 am

Hi, I have applied for a Leave to Remain based on Family. I was previously on the same visa but me and my wife have now separated. I made a new application based on my 3 years old daughter. I have an order from the court giving me access to my daughter

I applied in Nov 2018 and still have not heard back from the HO.

I wanted to find out is this normal as I have been living in the UK since 2012 and normally when I have made applications in the past they only took a couple of weeks or maximum 2 months but this time it has been over 4 months and no response

what happens once the 6 months are up? do they have to make the decision by then?

Your topic title is FLR(O) application....didn't you apply under the FLR(FP) Parent route :?: These applications are considered to be complex and it can take up to 12 months or more for a decision.
