Dear all,

My wife's resident permit is yet not ready as she recently came to join me from home country, it will be ready after a month. After 3 week, I will not be in position to score higher points in Age Assessment category.

If I apply in next two weeks then I will choose (hotel booking) to enter into UK in October.

I like to know can dependent apply later, before I fly to UK on T1? Will it be as seamless as the case when both had applied?

PS - VFS or WBC will not entertain if foreign nationals are not having Resident Permit.

Yes, that shouldn't be a problem.

Assuming Tier 1 is going to be implemented 30-Jun (or thereabouts) and your spouse will apply for EC before you enter UK, I would recommend that you start maintaining a balance of at least 1600 pounds as soon as you can in one of your accounts (Don't let the balance go below 1600 pounds on even a single day). If possible, start maintaining 2800+1600, but at least 1600 for sure.

Balance required for Maintenance Funds is in good number . I hope, I will be able to maintain and grow it further till wife applies.
