Hello Rafa,

I would like yo know if you already received the return passport and if you obtained the stamp with the FP.

I have started the process on 5/02 and so far i have not received a message or email. I am applying from Peru
Hi Lucia,
I had passwords problems with my another account. I created a new.

Yes, I got my passaporte back on 7th February,
So, my timeline was 15 working days exactly.

My biometrics was on 16 th January.
On 22rd I received an e-mail from Sheffield speaking about they received my documents and was analyzing... I stayed until 6th February no one email about the process.

Only 6th February a got a email from VSF with the information about they had received my passport in Brazil. I paid for currier service, so, I received in my hand my passport on 7 February.

The stamp visa date is 30/01 until 30/07.

Good luck with your process.

Excellent ranitoniolli, I am very happy for you, please can you notify when you receive the passport?
Yesterday my process was completed 5 days after delivery on Tuesday 5/02 and they sent me an email stating that my documents are already in the decision-making center so I am waiting for the next mail to indicate that they have already taken the decision.

Hello everyone ,

I have gone through this trend and I have read so many narrated issues faced ! However, my EEA family permit didn’t take 15 working days as it was supposed in website UKVi . I ensured that all document asked for were submitted and my passport was returned to travel to the Uk. We are actually traveling for a short Holiday !

Timeline:
Appointment after online application dated 29/01/2019 haha Brexit hot zone...

Passport received 15/02/2019. with visa.

I didn’t call or email because I didn’t see any reason for refusal anyways .

Nationality : Nigerian married to a Swiss national .
On demand DHL expressed was used to return my passport. FP must be treated with priority .

Advise : provide enough supported documents especially cohabitation related documents, marriage certificate plus photo of both you and your spouse.

I wish every one goodluck, never give up on your dreams!!

Hey Everyone! New here but have been reading quite a lot. It is great that there is such a good community of people sharing information. Shame the procedures are not clear enough that we have to!

Could someone clarify if the following is correct? I could not find a straight answer.

Q1
1 You apply for the EEA permit online
2 You choose your appointment date
3 You attend the visa center (in our case VFS Singapore)
4 They SCAN your documents, keep your passport (of the non-EEA spouse)
5 You then have to SEND the document pack by yourself to Sheffield??

If 5 is correct, do you need to include any pre-paid envelopes? Sheffield to Singapore is gonna be a few quid, I would not expect HO to be charitable enough to send back 1kg of docs.

Q2

I am also a dual citizen Polish/British. I will include my original polish passport but only a certified copy of the British one, as I need something for travel - guess that's OK?

Q3

Has anyone recently done this being dual citizen? Did you just use your EU credentials on the online application? I understand that dual citizens need to prove that the exercised treaty rights. How did you go about this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,

My husband applied for an EEA Family Permit and we took a lawyer to fill the form perfectly.
Application + Biometrics : 2nd January
Email application received by UKVI : 11th January
and now, we waiting...
So stressful...
when do you think that I should contact them if I don't have any news ?

Thanks for your help
Email application reviewed by ECO : 11th January
Greetings Ashf,

Soon I will apply for the EEA Family Permit for my spouse.

Can you please advise what are the aspects you discussed with the lawyer?

What was the advice given on how to fill the form perfectly?

Thank you, hope to read your reply,

Chris

Hallo.
I just wanted to share success for EEA family permit for my wife and daughter as we have been long distance relationship. They applied from Almaty in Kazahstan
Biometrics - 08.02.2019
Transferred to UKVI - email- 08.02.2019.
Received by UKVI - email- 13.02.2019
There has no been email saying decision has been made or either, just on 25.02.2019 received email saying that passports are ready for collection.

Received passports with visa stamp from 21.02.2019.

We have been applying for first time and on TLC contact centre they didn't take our conversations on whatsapp and calls, because they haven't been in English but in Russian. Also didn't take our 120 pictures because we did wrongly and they were on laminated paper. I was worrying all the time but decided send a letter with all that stuff from here in UK to Sheffield. It has worked - in two days TLC activity changed to "decision made" but no email saying it. And decision with visa stamp on wifes and daughters passports. They will be here next week :)

I dont advice to take solicitor as one of my friends did. Just suggestion if you feel like that is difficult to answer to some of questions in application form, write down in statement why you answered that way, I hope it will help you. And advice to give as much evidence as you can get :) Good luck

I will reply to my own question now that I have actually obtained the permit for my wife.

Q1 - They simply scan it, no need to send anywhere.
Q2 - Yep OK, they are happy with copies
Q3 - I used my UE credentials and explained in notes I am also BC. Provided bank statements, payslips and letters from work and also my British passport, permanent residence card and naturalisation cert.

Overall it was done in 15 calendar days and minimum foss. Received only one email that they got the docs and no further communication. God bless EU, I was about to drop 3k+ for going British citizen route before I found out about it.

Here to share success story. Been going through this forum before during and after my application and some of your stories guided me.

Applied first time online 28 Jan 2019 (brexit hot zone)
Bio—- 30 Jan

Applied AGAIN same day online .. collected passport next day

New appointment feb 22
Biometrics 22 feb
Received UKVI on TLS tracking 24 Feb
Email ECO consideration : Mar 03
No further emails from Sheffield. My wife called twice on 12 Mar still considering. Called 14 mar decision made this morning was told.
18 MAR email from TLS CONTACT documents ready
Collected 19 Mar EEA FP stamped on 12 Mar

Hello guys did anyone applied for family Permit non EEA National in January 2019 ? Actually my brother applied for me in January amd got the consideration email that they recieved my application and it’s under consideration and after a week I got a not straight forward email two times I’m curious if someone else got these not straightforward emails ? It’s been almost 1 month that I haven’t heard anything from them plz someone reply me I’ll be very grateful thank u

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection. This is the email that I got twice

Hello sir faro123

Can you please reply regarding your EEA family permit. What happened as you didn't update after that.

I applied on 12th March 2019
Biometrics: 12th March
Relieved by Sheffield email: 17th March 2019
Not straight forward email: 23rd March 2019

I am also concerned as nobody else is getting straight forward emails.

Can you update what happened to your application.

Applicationandbiometrics: March 8. 2019
Vfs sms ( application forwarded) March 11,2019
Email from ukvi : March 20,2019
Now I’m still waiting for result 😭 and waiting time is killing me .
Can’t stop thinking about how the visa centre only took black and white xerox copy of all my documents and scanned it . They did not get any originals even the xerox copy .
I’m also concern about my husbands bank account he doesn’t have that much of savings since he’s been in and out and spending a lot just to see me for the last 2 years 😭😭😭. I did give bank statement from my own savings though but still not big amount of money. But they said no financial requirement is needed for eea permit. Now just praying and praying even dreaming about visa every night. 😭

I applied for the UK EEA FAMILY PERMIT and this is my time line so far :

TLsContact Munich visit: 12 March 2019

Received SMS from TLsContact (The Visa application has been forwarded to UKVI) : 12 March 2019

Received Email from VISAINFO.SHEFO (Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.): 25 March 2019

I been reading these forums since I applied for FP
Below is my timeline:

Applied EEA FP on MARCH 19 @ VFS JALANDHAR priority paid INR 20,000
BIONETRICS DONE SAME DAY:

March 19 text message received “The visa application for GWF****** was forwarded to UKVI on 3/19/2019”
March 25 text message received “The processed visa application for GWF******* will be delivered to the chosen address“
Followed by email on the same day
“Dear ********

The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWF****** was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 3/25/2019
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.

Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.”

Collected passport today March 27 and found visa stamped.
Priority was totally worth it. I was very tensed like everyone here. I hope I’ve listed everything here and this post will help you guys.

Feel free to message me if any questions. Cheers !!

To qualify for an unmarried partner route, you have to prove you have lived together and have joint financial commitments for at least 2 years immediately preceding your application date.

Thank you! We can do that - we have a lot of photos and chats since we day we met, we also usaed to live in one flat and i have all the evidences of this too. The thing that concerns me is "the bank statements and savings". Should i provide mine or only my EEA partner's financial documents are needed? Thank you
