Help applying for neutralisation after 6 years of DLR and 1 Year of ILR ?

Post by Mariah123098 » Fri Mar 29, 2019 7:30 pm

Hello.

I would be very grateful if someone can help me answer this enquire because I am going to be apply for neutralisation in May 2019 but I am confused if I qualify within the 10 year lawful living route as I got first DLR before 9 July 2017 wen the rules changed.

Applied Asylum

Date of Entry: 2007
First DLR granted: June 2012 ( Humanitarian rights)
Second DLR granted: Dec 2015
ILR granted: May 2018 same day through premium service

(No Travel History)

I came to Uk with my wife n (children under the age of 18) now I can apply for neutralisation in May as I completed 1 year of ILR. I would like to find out that do I have to wait until 2022 to apply for citizenship or will I be okay applying now as I don’t want to waste so much money as my children are all over 18 now aswell.

My children has studies since school n currently at university.
