weird question

hi guys i was just wondering if you have a west african nationality can you apply for a spouse visa in a differnt country. The reason i ask this is my father lives in Brazil and my husband and myself are staying there for 3 months however my husband does not want to go back to west africa for many reasons. we have our case file in brazil and everthing need to apply so can we go to the u.k high commision in brazil to apply. would be grateful for any ideas

Normally the British diplomatic mission in Brazil will want the applicant to be a Brazilian citizen or legal long-term resident.
