Application Date Query for Online Application

Hi ,

I am planning to Apply for naturalisation as a British Citizen on 01/04/2019 via online.

One of the Prerequisites is
prove you were in the UK exactly 5 years before the day the Home Office receives your application

Could you please help me understand if the date of Home office receiving application is the date of online application Submission.

PS : I have travelled for business every week ( 2 days outside the country) and hence i need to take care of the dates corretcly.
