FLR M / FLR FP

Hi all

I am British citizen with a one British child.
My wife and another overseas born child is on Flr M currently and their visa due to finish in June 2019.
Unfortunately this time I am out of job for a while and I won't be able to show income for around 22.5k per annum for them .

Wife is in UK since July 2010 with no break.

What are my current options if I am unable to meet income requirements?

FLR FP which will be a new 10 year route to ILR (4 x 2.5 year visas).

Note also that the IHS fee has doubled and is now £1000 per applicant for a 2.5 year visa.

Is there any appeal rights in flr FP?
Also she is due to complete her long 10 years in June 2020 will time on FLR FP count towards 10 year legal stay ?

Often only out of country appeal if any appeal rights at all.

All visas count for ILR based on long residence.

So if she gets visa on flr FP base she can use that 10 months time to complete her long residence in 2020.

Unfortunately I have no option ATM apart from flr f fp.

1) any idea what is the current time frame for this visa outcome ?
2) my wife has B1 English cert can she use that one ?

1. It can take many months.

2. The 10 year flr FP route doesn't have English and financial requirements but she can submit her test.
