wrong salary on COS ...

Post by jithu001 » Wed Apr 03, 2019 1:46 pm

HI,
Regarding my tier 2 general extension:

The salary mentioned in the COS is 35000 for 2135 band for experienced .IN SOC code i can see for experienced 35800 .So i contacted employer and he put a sponsor Note like " Salary must be £35,800 and that need to amended in COS".

let me know can i start fill the application or is there any problem for my Tier 2 general visa extension?

Just to confirm- the Sponsor has updated the COS note field with the wording you have outlined?

As long as the wording used is plain and clear that the salary to be paid is £35,800 it should be fine. Personally I would want to see a COS printout to ensure the wording meets the need.
