New spouse visa rules 2019

Post by photoman48 » Sun Apr 07, 2019 2:55 pm

Seen a few posts that are making me doubt myself- do we still only need to provide 6 months pay slips for spouse visa? Some people says the new system wants 12 months payslips if we work in 2 jobs. Is that true? We don’t want to wait for another 6 months :(

The online form seems like mistakenly considering to category A non-salaried person (person with varying wages) as category B when by simply saying to no to the question that are you earning same wages from the last 6/12 months. In my opinion the best way to answer is to say yes then give explanation in additional info and just attach 6 months of payslips with bank statements.
Also there is no harm in supplying 12 months of payslips and bank statements if sufficient income does not fall significantly because any category A person can wish his/her income to be considered under category B too.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Are you the applicant and your wife the sponsor?
Is it an initial spouse visa you’re applying for outside of the country?
