Varying from set O to Set Lr

Hi ,
My application for ILR set O (tier 1 entrepreneur )is still with home Office. My wife application for extension as pbs dependant also with home Office.
I am varying my application to set Lr and my application check list ask for proof of immigration status for my wife . I have confirmation email for her pbs dependant application fee payment and Immigration health surcharge. I can submit her expired brp as well .

Do I need to mention in my application or in the cover letter that I will vary her application to FLRM ?
What should I write?

Even if you vary Set(O) to Set(LR), I believe HO will still be carrying the same checks. If that is the case, you will end up paying twice, then your wife clock will be reset and you will be paying for your wife FLR(M) for another five years + IHS.
