Online application

Post by Cosh » Mon Apr 08, 2019 6:52 pm

Hello Everyone.

Im new here a d really urgently require some advice. I am doing the online application and under what do they earn we have the following options:

1. The same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount

2. The same amount continuously, below the financial requirement amount

3.Not the same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount

4.Not the same amount continuously, below the financial requirement amount

I earn roughly 16k per year after doing the calculation for non salaried and my partner earns 9k. My pay depends on the hours i work so changes each month so i am a non salaried employee my partner also is non salaried but gets the same pay eah month as he does no over time. Which option shall we go with? 2,3,4 requires 12 mnths bank statement but 1 requires 6 months though it doesnt match my payment pattern.

Your help is highly appreciated :|

I think you need to choose option 4, as you are both non-salaried and individually earn less than the required amount, but combined your earnings will satisfy. You would each need to provide twelve months evidence.

Thank you for your reply, but thats my point for non salaried in the guidance they want 6 months bank statements. I do not want to give them more to confuse them as fot sufficiemt amount i need them to calculate my gross based on non salaried. Do you think it will br okay to pick option one provide 6 months payslip bank statements each and outline everything in a cover letter?

There has nothing been changed in Appendix FM Section 1.7 Appendix guideline, therefore, in case of working atleast 6 months for an employer will require only 6 months of payslips and corresponding bank statements under category A. In my option option 1 will be more appropriate and then in additional info section/covering letter explain the situation. You and your partner can certainly combine your income under category A (if both working from 6 months for same employer) and supply only 6 months of payslips and bank statements.

Hi, many thanks for your reply.

In this case well just submit 6 each and bank statements and select option 1, however i havent been with my currently employer for atleast a year its only been 11 months as we submit, would this cause an issue? ive seen some people state the online application requires 12 months if you havent been working for same employer min 12 months?

My bank statements have been printed out and are not originals, i have got all pages stamped by the bank but they wouldnt give me a letter.

I have also seen alot of people sending full photocopies of their passports as well as sending the originals is this required? We will both be sending original passports. Many thanks for the help.

Usually the copy of British passport can be sent instead original.

In short, No.

You can contact Home Office for updates but you’ll receive a generic response without any clue of days/weeks it may take to hear on the decision.
