HSMP and working aborad as expat

Hi all,
If I am on HSMP, can I work abroad while my family stays in the UK? Effectively means, i am employed by UK company but posted outside UK for business reason?

IMHO...if your employer is UK based i.e registered in the UK and deputes you outside UK on account of some business reason and you end up getting UK salary and pay tax and NI contribution...then yes your fly can stay in the UK....

HO has begun to become strict with this arrangement. Please check the guidance regarding HSMP/tier1 about being seconded. You are taking a risk by doing long assignments abroad.
