UK Visa from Europe

Dear Friends ,

I am in a weird situation ( as many of you would have already gone through).

My Indian IT Service Employer is trying to place me in either UK ( on Work Permit) or Europe ( germany or swiss ).

I plan to apply for tier-1 visa during my stay in europe / uk .

In case I am placed in UK, I understand that it is possible to switch from work permit to tier-1.

In case of an european nation, How do i need to proceed?.

a) should I apply for HSMP?
b) is it valid to apply with my Indian Earning as Proof of Income for Salary Earning?
c) many questions in the same area .

You will be able to apply from Europe only if you are legal resident there (e.g. - on WP/resident permit; but not business / visitor visa).
a) HSMP or Tier 1, whichever scheme is operational in that country. There are indications that Tier 1 will be rolled out for rest of world on (or around) 30-Jun. No formal annoucement has been made as yet, keep checking UKBA website.
b) Eligibility criteria is independent of where you apply from. You will find all the details in the Tier 1 policy guidance available on UKBA website or VFS website.

I shall act accordingly. ie, I shall wait for Tier-1 Rollout if it is slated in near future.

Also, I understand that ...applying for HSMP + EC is done in single visit to UK Visa Consulate. Is this true?.
