Visa duration mistake

Post by gal2014 » Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:10 am

Hello,
I accidentally selected a 5 year visa and yet my CoS specifies 3 years. However, my salary threshold is over and above the pay for an experienced worker.
Will I automatically be given a three year visa or do I need to write to the consular and inform them of this mistake?
Thanks for the response in advance.

One of two things will happen

They will contact you or your Sponsor to seek clarification or they will just issue a three year visa. More than likely the second option.

IHS and part visa fee refund - you will have to ensure those are repaid where appropriate.
