Father did not come and his visit visa expired.

My father has got a 6 month visit visa for UK which expires in about 2 months. Can he visit now? If he does not visit, would he have problem getting a UK visit visa next time?

He can visit the UK at any time while his visa is valid and must leave the UK by the expiry date.

No issue to get another visitor visa if he meets the requirements and does not appear to be spending more time in the UK than the country he lives in.
