Settlement visa self employed, tax question

Post by edgaregg » Tue Apr 09, 2019 9:22 pm

I have literally just submitted my self assessment

When one applies and submits all the documents in relation to the financial requirement, does one actually have to show that the tax has been paid for 2018/19.... i dont actually have to pay half until July 2019 and the other half in January 2020. Obviously i would prefer to wait until then to actually 'pay' the tax, or should i ensure that its paid for for an application this month?

Spouse Visa - Self Employed

Post by edgaregg » Thu Apr 11, 2019 9:43 am

Hello

Wonder if someone cab give me some insight on a similar issue

Im submitting 2018/2019 tax year self employment docs for settlement visa. I only just completed the return this week and my tax is payable in 2 instalments, one in July 31 2019 and one Jan 2020. When i submit all my financial docs, do i also have demonstrate that the tax has been fully paid for that financial year, or is it just the tax calculation they need to see as its not clear in the guidance
