Hi All,
Quick question please. The rule on 180 days continuous residence , which is you must be in the UK for at least 180 days as a continuous residence, if you are to qualify for permanent settlement or IRL status.
Is this rule for partners of a British citizen and a child only?
Also, the HO will verify if the previous years prior to your application date meets the 180 rule, how many years can they back check?
If you are on the 10 year family route which gets extended every 30months, does the 180 days rule apply? Articles have suggested that if you are going to apply for the IRL in future after 10 years it's best you stick to the 180 days rule, don't know if this is true or not.Any advice please.
Thanks
