Child dependent - error on application

Post by TinyG » Mon Apr 22, 2019 3:19 am

My husband is being sponsored for a Tier 2 work visa, with myself and our three children as dependents. When completing our children’s visa application there was a question asking will you be travelling with someone who is not a partner, spouse, or someone else - can’t remember exactly... On my application the answer was no (as I’m travelling with my husband), and I clicked no on 2/3 children’s applications without thinking (I was thinking that it meant are you travelling with someone who is not a family member). On the third one I clicked yes so I could see what the drop down options were, and it had “parents” so selected that, and realised I should have put “yes” and “parents” in the other two applications too - but I had already submitted and paid for them. The application asks at the start of the person (child) is travelling at the same time as the sponsored person, and we answered yes to this - so have already shown who the child will be travelling with. Not sure if it is okay because they will see who he’s travelling with, or not okay because the visa answers are inconsistent/incorrect. Would we be rejected over this? Or would they query it? If we cancel and redo the application do we get out health surcharge and visa application fee back? It’s a lot of money to lose/pay again. Can anyone help??

Should have said - this is an out of country application. Applying from Australia.
