Fixed Deposit as Maintenance Fund for Tier 1 Entrepreneur Initial Application

I applied on 28th March 2019.
I have opted for VCF route £50 k.
I did not put any passbook or bank statements.
I only submitted Fixed Deposit Receipts of Rs.12 lac.
I hope they do consider.

Kindly advise whether they will consider it or not.

I have not been contacted by UK Embassy as of now.

There have been few reports on the forum from years ago that fixed deposits will be accepted. The rules say that:

(i) No points will be awarded where the specified documents show that the funds are held in a financial institution listed in Appendix P as being an institution with which the UK Border Agency is unable to make satisfactory verification checks.
(j) Maintenance must be in the form of cash funds. Other accounts or financial instruments such as shares, bonds, credit cards, pension funds etc, regardless of notice period are not acceptable.

I applied on 28th march.
My solicitor keep telling me that i wont get interview. I dont believe him.
I have been to UK for 2 years on student Visa, 3 times on visit visa. Once with family .. came back withing time every time.
Please guide

Your solicitor has no influence on your application. Most Tier 1E applicants will be interviewed at initial stage however every case will be decided on its own merits. You must wait to hear back from UKVI
