can you plz share when your friend applied in student scheme as he got refused in February.alphabetical wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 7:05 pmMy friend got refused last February under student scheme for the same reason as your.He reviewed his file and last Friday he got refused again.
So its clear that if you review even wouldn't get any positive outcome of this scheme.
I think chronological order not being followed at all. Also, the applications which are simple for them to accept or to refuse are being dealt straight away they come across them. others complex applications might take longer to make decisions.

I applied in December and my application is as straightforward as it gets. I have submitted every document I have. My solicitor even included a letter stating my whole situation. Despite this, they keep sending me generic responses when I inquire.
A friend of mine who has his second name starting with A applied in October. No updates since. I think it's random. However they should have more resources as re-entry visa was cancelled so processing should be faster now. Should be..alphabetical wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 6:20 pmLynx14 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 9:17 pmalphabetical wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 9:08 pmI think chronological order not being followed at all. Any chance if they are following the alphabetical order ? i.e. Names start with A, then B and C , so on.. because some people who applied in october are still waiting whereas other who applied only in January have already got decisions. Any body have an idea?

I arrived in 2009 on a student visa and completed a 4-year undergraduate degree and then went on to do a 4-year postgraduate degree. My stamp 2 expired in 2018 because I got an extension to enable me to finish my postgrad thesis. I got a stamp 1G in May 2018 which is due to expire next month. I've only changed from a stamp 2 to stamp 1G and nothing else. I hope that helps....alphabetical wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 8:21 pmthat's great news. congratulations bro. can you please share with us what year you arrived in the state, when ur student permission was valid until, did u try to change ur status, ur last stamp was.still.stamp2? and were you currently on other applications like leave to remain. it will help to know many other students who are on this board. thank you.ScienceFall wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 8:01 pmHi guys, I finally got feedback regarding my application and it was positive. Congratulations to you ScienceFall and may god bless you in your new venture.Like Aphabetical said can you please update us about your situation, did you meet the whole 10 requirements? 4 you.ScienceFall wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 8:01 pmHi guys, I finally got feedback regarding my application and it was positive. I guess I did tick a lot of the boxes. I arrived in 2009 and only changed from stamp 2 to stamp 1G, I did a lot of part-time work at the university where I did my postgrad and now on a short term contract so I was able to show p60 from 2016, 2017 and 2018 as well as payslips showing I was not dependent on the state. I also included letters from my boss and another colleague just to strengthen my application although I'm not sure that made any difference.Brianah wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 8:37 pmCongratulations to you ScienceFall and may god bless you in your new venture.Like Aphabetical said can you please update us about your situation, did you meet the whole 10 requirements? 4 you.ScienceFall wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 8:01 pmHi guys, I finally got feedback regarding my application and it was positive. I think they are only strict with regards to any previous change of status, I might be wrong of course. I believe as long as you've not changed your status, chances of getting a positive reply is relatively high even without work. I pray you'll get positive feedback soon.......Lynx14 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 9:10 pmCongratulations
You have ticked all the boxes as well.
I am wondering how strict are they on the work as a condition. I have only completed my degree in 2018 and doing masters now on 1G visa. It expires in September. I was never dependent on the state as I have been sponsored by my family throughout. I have spend a lot of money in Ireland as you can imagine over the past 10 years. If anyone knows how strict they are on work as condition please post it here.
Congratulations!!! I want to know before they delivered your papers this morning did they show your application was completed online. Someone said they show completed on the online portal a day before they send the letter? This is true. The online portal showed application was completed a day before I received the letter. I made it a habit to check the online portal every evening.Msamo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 12:21 amCongratulations!!! Thank you ! please do not for get to share with us as soon as you get the update.Lynx14 wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2019 12:14 amThere will be update in around 8th of May. I have asked my TD to ask parliamentary question on the number of applications done to this date. This will be almost a month since last update. Thus we will know how many applications they are currently processing per month.
Hi Danny, I am sorry to hear that.Danny3007 wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2019 11:48 amI received refusal on my review because of section 3.4 on the scheme that i changed my status.
My history 2007-2015 stamp 2
2015 Temporary stamp 1 for 4 months to enable employer to apply for a work on my behalf
2016 Temporary stamp 1 for 4 months to enable employer to apply for a work on my behalf
2017 Temporary stamp 1 for 6 months to enable employer to apply for a work on my behalf
Unsuccessful on obtaining a work permit.
2018 Temporary stamp 1 for 1 year work without the need for an employment permit.
Very confusing. i might need to get some legal advice on this.
