Spouse Visa extension

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of questions, if anyone could help that'd be greatly appreciated.

My wife's Spouse visa is up for extension in November. Since we applied for the first visa a couple of things have changed...

Firstly I'm now self employed so I don't have a years worth of books when it comes to renewal, so as I understand it my finances don't count - however she is in full time work and earns just over 20k a year. My question is do I need to fill in the sponsorship document if she is meeting the financial requirements herself?

This leads me onto my next question, we have a baby due in August! So when she renews she'll be 4-5 months into her maternity leave. If I've understood it correctly she needs to provide 6 months of payslips before she went onto maternity leave?
