IHS confirmation for tier 2 visa application

Hi all,
Do I need to take IHS payment confirmation email along for my biometrics appointment to apply for my Tier 2 general Visa?
My immigration specialist says its not required but some of my friends say its needed.
I would like your inputs to insist my immigration specialist to provide the IHS payment confirmation.
