1) I have travelled to UK from Mumbai, India last year ( march 2018) with a 6 month (Valid till August 22 2018) Business visa, returned with 10 days.
2) Applied for work Visa and got it. Travelled again (June 2018). However this visa expired in one month 15 days on (14 July 2018).
3) Since work got extended I applied for Visa extension before expiry of above Visa. (applied on 5 July 2018)
4) did not receive passport for over a month, and since earlier visa permit (business visa mentioned above point 01) was to also expire on 22 August 2018, I waited till the 20th August 2018 to receive passport, after which I applied for cancel of application so I get my passport at least and I can return to my country (India) without a case of over stay.
5) as per rules, if you have applied for Visa extension, delay is not considered as overstay
6) My application is cancelled as per my wish and I receive my Passport by post on 29 the August 2018 ( in 9 days of request of cancellation of application for visa extension/ leave to remain request)
7) next day I fly back, I;e 30 June 2018.
Now in January 2019 I apply for another business visit visa, it gets rejected due to system showing overstay. 9) so I apply on fast track processing (paying the high application fee) with all documents I received from Home office describing the issue of last trip and reason of overstay, which was I did not have passport to return as UK home office had taken over 1 and a half months, an I wanted to return so I cancelled application and returned the next day of receiving passport. I attached all documents of above case.
10) IT HAS BEEN OVER 8 WEEKS now, I haven't received my passport, nor any email from the VFS except the initial email that said your application has been submitted and forwarded.
Please HELP/ ADVICE what I must do as with no passport and no visa I have lost considerable work and now again I am waiting for passport for 2 months now.
