Currently I am on a dependent visa of my wife's T2 General visa where I am working as a IT contractor in UK. Our visa due for extension in couple of months but due to personal circumstances we decided not to continue with the extension and return to home country. My client is in a position to allow me to work in my home country in one of their head offices unless if I can do occasional visit to UK every now and then meeting the local team. I am running a limited company and will continue to receive payments in UK.

Please let me know if there is a visitor visa that can fulfill my situation.

There is no visit visa that will allow you to work and supply services in the manner you have described.
The UK limited company you run can not actually employ you as you will not have the right to work in the UK so any activity you undertake would be illegal in the UK. So you could not come as an employee of the UK entity.

Whatever arrangements you make to return to the UK must not involve working. Any contract that you have to supply services in the UK where you are the individual supplying those services can not be performed once your current leave expires.

I am not coming to UK to perform work because all my work will be performed in my home country. It would be a short visit for meeting the team, training, site visit similar to the requirements for a business visa. What I am unsure is I am not directly employed by a company so wondering what criteria will I fulfill to get a business visa.

I am confused when you say you are not working for a company - the contract between you and the client states what? Your name or a company name?
