Visitor Visa - Parent

Hi,
Could someone advise step by step procedure to bring my mother on visiting visa from India to UK please. I am on on Tier 2 and currently haven't managed my bank statement were mother have maintained fund equilant for £1200 in her account in india.

I believe you will need about £3-4K in bank account for 5-6 months.

Where exactly did you get this information from?? Post an official link that states exactly this requirement for a visitor visa.

I am applying my parents visa from hong kong. The immigration advisor says, the sponsor need to show enough money in bank to support their trip in UK.

Many 'immigration advisors' have no idea what they are talking about and very often get even the most basic application horribly wrong.
